Story
For the Four Seasons Istanbul, located in the heart of the historic peninsula, we designed a marble palette that pays tribute to both Ottoman palace grandeur and modern luxury.
The 4-meter single-piece Calacatta Gold facade panel used in the lobby is the first masterpiece greeting visitors. The bookmatched veins create a Rorschach-like symmetry at the center.
The Nero Marquina counter behind the reception creates a sharp contrast with the gold-veined white, representing the historical duality at both ends of the space — night and day, east and west.
